Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. Join us! **Education** + Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program and has successfully passed RN examination. + Current California RN license. + Current Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) recognition (American Heart Association or Greater Sacramento Region) + NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program **Experience** + Minimum of six (6) months area specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years - required. **Knowledge** + Knowledge of nursing process in assessment of physical and psychosocial, psychological needs of patients. + Aware of adult learning principles in providing teaching of patients and families. **Job Shift:** Nights **Schedule:** Per Diem/Casual **Shift Hours:** 12 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Every other Weekend **Benefits:** No **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 0 **Employee Status:** Per Diem/Casual Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $73.07 to $96.78 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
