Practice Highlights

As the Inpatient Section Chief , you will:

• Lead a 52-bed Behavioral Health Unit across two floors.
• Be a vital member of the Behavioral Health leadership team.
• Oversee inpatient psychiatric services and supervise a dedicated team of professionals.
• Ensure quality and safety in psychiatric services through ongoing evaluations and support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal care for Veterans.

Primary Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
2. Managing a team of psychiatrists, CRNPs, and Physician Assistants.
3. Participating in leadership meetings and hospital committees.
4. Providing psychiatric treatment to a diverse population, including active duty personnel and Veterans.
5. Facilitating research and participating in performance improvement activities.

Work Schedule

Enjoy a structured work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM .

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates who are competent in managing a broad range of clinical problems, including:

• Posttraumatic stress disorder
• Traumatic brain injury
• Substance abuse disorders
• Mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders
