Part-time Weekend Family Assistant in McLean, VA Are you looking for a fulfilling weekend position where you can make a real difference for a busy family? A kind and energetic family in McLean, VA is looking for a Family Assistant to join their team. They have school-age children and a toddler, and they need a self-starter who is ready to jump in and help with whatever is needed. This is a great opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or someone who has a weekend availability and is passionate about childcare. You will be a key part of the familys weekend routine, helping with everything from driving kids to activities, assisting with light housework, planning outings, and preparing simple meals. The ideal candidate is a team player and very organized with strong communication skills. If you are a positive role model who can build a genuine connection with children we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities include: Driving children to and from activities and appointments Helping with light household tasks, such as laundry and tidying up Assisting with homework and special projects Planning fun, age-appropriate activities Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children Running errands and grocery shopping Qualifications: Previous experience in childcare with excellent verifiable references A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to get certified) Competent swimmer A roll-up your sleeves mentality and a willingness to pitch in where needed. Schedule Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please let us know if you prefer a slightly different schedule. Some flexibility to work additional hours as needed is appreciated. Compensation $40-$55/hour depending on experience
