Job Description
Under moderate supervision, operate arc and heliarc equipment to weld cabinets, frames, and small parts.
Responsibilities:

• None.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Check welding equipment for proper operation.
• Set up job for welding.
• Obtain and position clamps.
• Prepare welding wire for feeding.
• Level frame for welding, determine proper welding spots, types and sizes given stress requirements.
• Operate arc and heliarc welding equipment to weld cabinets and everything else that is required in a cabinet.
• Use wrenches, ratchets, grinders and hand tools as needed.
• Service and maintain welding equipment.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Work primarily with other welders.
• Responsible for consistently meeting quality and production standards.
• May assist sheet metal, fabrication, grinding and assembly work crews as needed.
• Must consistently and properly wear proper PPE.

Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements: • Required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs
